my brethren are making it rain! or, snow.. kwame nkrumah-acheampong is ghana's first and only athlete to qualify for any winter olympics. ever.
this past march he qualified for the 2010 games by breaking the magical 140-point barrier set by the FIS, and he was raised in ghana without seeing a snowflake until he was 27. not that he expects to win a medal, his goal is simply to, "is to ski very well and prove to people that I deserve to be on the hill, with the other top world class athletes". the radness.
