so thursday night i'm heading up to whis with some homies for the b-grade horror film fest: gnarcore's dave rouleau, and feral's cover girl crystal sevigny to name a couple. under the direction of don't sleep's benny stoddard, they've created 'feral terror', their own entry in the competition. basically, i've been promised blood, lust, scary forest scenes and full frontal nudity.

i'm pretty much a baby when it comes to anything horror-related, so i'm super nervous about the whole thing.

i was lucky enough to catch the vancouver premiere of the travis rice movie about a week and a half ago at the vogue theatre, and holy shit, it was the best snowboard movie i have ever seen in my life. yea yea, i know you've probably heard people say that before - but this was no lameo shred vid. redbull laid down a 3 million dollar budget on this baby.

oh, and the filming crew that created the 'planet earth' dvds was the same one on this project. don't even trip.

and now it looks like it's going to get even more problematic. he's done a few one-offs here and there, but now marc jacobs has decided to fully immerse himself in swimwear for his 'more affordable' marc by marc jacobs line, for spring 2009. earlier this week, jacobs announced a licensing agreement with swimwear anywhere inc., which will design and manufacture swim separates and beachwear for the marc by marc jacobs collection.

looks like i'm going to have to allot a new drawer in my closet for summer clothing.

this past weekend holly, kris, b and i went on a thrifting mission. in the midst of trying on some pretty crazy outfits, i managed to find, for 10 dollars (!!), a 100% raw silk longish black vintage escada women's sportcoat with the best shoulder pads ever - and i swear, i never thought in my life that i would ever say that about shoulder pads.
