i was browsing through the kingdom of style last week and stumbled upon some of the coolest necklaces i'd seen in awhile. i wanted to post about them then and there, but was having trouble finding any images. so i emailed the designer shilpa chavan with a request, crossing my fingers, and lo and behold she replied the next day!

she has got some of the freshest accessories i've seen in ages - shimmering threaded brocade sari pieces in plexiglas (for reals), and headwear ranging from astronaut-like helmets to purely romantic lace confections.
