unknowingly, a force in the sexual revolution, and a cult heroine, she spent most of her life out of the limelight, turned to religion, then later battled with acute schizophrenia.

she was 85.

i really love this store. it is nestled in the heart of gastown and it has the cutest shit. i was with amelia when she bought the purple version of these suede ribcage earings by manimal early on in the summer, and i've been poking my head in and out of the store ever since. i'm also completely head over heels for their yokoo knit chains. i want one.

i've also had my eye on their amazing manimal navy mocassins for about the last 6 months - christmas presents anyone..?

seriously, it feels like i just blinked and all of a sudden it went from summer to mid-december - where have i been for the past four months?

i even forgot to get an advent calendar, usually my most prized of holiday possessions (except for the giant toblerone the mom dukes stuffs in my stocking). guess we're going to have to pick one of those up tonight..
