my girls, leah and susan, are picking up and packing it in for toronto this weekend. i am having a karaoke gathering at my place in their honour tomorrow night, and all you (uh 3?) readers of my blog are more than welcome to join me and about 30 of our closest friends to toast them, and participate in a mass shotgunning of beers in their honour.

my 'it girl' this week is none other than the ravishing charlotte rampling. amelia, lukas and i went to see a luchino visconti double header at the cinematheque a couple of months ago and there she was, lighting up the screen, as the ill-fated elisabeth thallman, in 'the damned'.
