i definitely didn't look this cute in tenth grade. or in my second year of university. but sophmore is a neat brand out of nyc that would've probably changed that if i'd know about them earlier.. they used to just do tees, but have recently started to work with madeleine von froomer (of proenza schouler fame) and have expanded their basics into something a bit more east coast. nice nice niceness.

this morning, phil showed me the coolest underwater art gallery in grenada by artist, jason taylor. each piece is a permanent ocean floor fixture, which means they will act as an artificial reef for corals, algae, and sponges. in turn, this makes the area an ideal home and breeding area for fish, turtles, and other sea creatures. neat!
